Two detained in Andijan for selling nearly 2 kg of hashish for 18 thousand dollars

Officers of the Border Troops of the State Security Service, the SSS department for Andijan region and the regional internal affairs department detained two residents of a district of the region while selling 1 kg 971 g of hashish to a conditional buyer for 18 thousand dollars. The detainees resisted. A case was opened under Article 273 of the Criminal Code, and pre-trial detention was applied as a measure of restraint.

Woman arrested in Tashkent carrying 1.2 kg of hashish hidden in a baby doll

Officers of the Tashkent Region Police Department and Nurafshan Police, together with the Cybercrime Fighting Department, stopped a Nexia 3 in the Bektemir district of Tashkent and found eight packages of hashish weighing 100–150 grams each hidden in a passenger's baby doll. According to the MVD, 56-year-old G.A. was transporting drugs from Ferghana Region for sale; in an MVD video she said an acquaintance had promised her $200 for delivering the packages. A criminal case has been opened under Part 6 of Article 273 of the Criminal Code.

Seller of over 1.2 kg of hashish detained at a hotel in Tashkent

Officers of the Customs Committee of Uzbekistan, together with the State Security Service and internal affairs bodies, detained a person at a hotel in the Yashnabad (Yakkasaray) district of Tashkent who was attempting to sell more than 1.2 kg of hashish. He had previously been convicted of similar crimes. A criminal case has been opened.
