Court denies serial killer Gerashchenko transfer from Polar Owl to be closer to his mother
Life-sentenced Alexander Gerashchenko asked to be transferred from the Polar Owl colony in the YaNAO to a facility in Perm Krai, citing the condition of his elderly mother. The court refused, finding no exceptional circumstances. This is not the first such attempt: earlier, the Bitsevsky Maniac Pichushkin filed a similar complaint.
