Colossal Biosciences unveils AI platform GenoMorph to accelerate the return of extinct species
Colossal Biosciences has announced the AI platform GenoMorph, which helps identify genes for editing in de-extinction projects with limited genetic data. The platform is being applied to the dodo project, for which only one genome is available. The company also reported that its Nicobar pigeon colony has grown to 36 birds and that it has created cells that give rise to eggs and sperm.
