Paris opens attempted murder case after attack on gendarmes at protest rallies
After Saturday's demonstrations in Paris, the prosecutor's office opened an attempted murder case against representatives of the authorities: bottles filled with a flammable mixture were thrown at gendarmes, and one officer suffered burns. In total, more than 770 people were detained across France — half as many as a week earlier.
