Uzbekistan introduces fines for filling household cylinders at gas filling stations from February 5, 2027
The president signed a law supplementing the Code of Administrative Liability with an article on violations of the procedure for retail sale of liquefied gas: gas filling stations face a fine of 1.32 to 2.2 million soums. The liability applies to stations, not to citizens. Against the backdrop of irregular supplies and the rise in gas prices to 5,000 soums per kg, an economist pointed out the absence of sanctions for suppliers for failure to deliver.
