EU and Canada to study long-term LNG supplies amid Europe's gas crisis
According to a draft joint statement ahead of the EU–Canada summit in Montreal on 29–30 October, the sides will conduct a feasibility study on LNG exports to Europe. The draft does not answer key questions about volumes, price and the necessary infrastructure, and environmentalists criticise the initiative.
