Germany's first Jewish Academy opens in Frankfurt
A Jewish Academy has opened in Frankfurt — the first institution of its kind in Germany. The project, costing around €40 million, continues the tradition of Franz Rosenzweig's Lehrhaus, which was closed by the Nazis in 1938. At the opening ceremony, speakers discussed education as a response to antisemitism and the security of Jewish institutions.
