Russian woman left without help from tour operator after flight delay from Egypt
Tourist Alexandra spent a week at a five-star hotel in Makadi Bay on an Anex Tour package. On her departure day, her flight to Moscow was delayed, and the wait for the transfer stretched to 19 hours. According to the woman, the tour operator suggested she pay out of pocket for an extra night at the hotel for nearly $1,500 when the entire tour cost $2,000, and after she refused, the guides stopped communicating with her. She spent the night on a lounge chair by the pool in the rain and is now seeking compensation.
