A strong M3.6-class flare was recorded on the Sun on the evening of November 5
On the evening of November 5, an M3.6-class flare occurred on the Sun, peaking at 21:33 Moscow time. Data from the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the IKI RAN and the ISTP SB RAS also show high background activity — 5.3 out of ten over the past 48 hours. At the same time, a stream of solar wind from a giant coronal hole is approaching Earth.
