Economist calculates how long it takes to save a million rubles with monthly contributions of 10,000 to 30,000
Pyotr Shcherbachenko, an associate professor at the Financial University, presented calculations: without interest, a million rubles takes eight years to accumulate with contributions of 10,000 rubles a month, while at a 10% annual rate the timeline shrinks to six years. He also named the main obstacles to saving.
