Profits of Uzbekistan's banks grew 40% in the first nine months of 2026, nearly reaching the level of the entire last year
The combined net profit of the banking sector for January–September 2026 amounted to 15.26 trillion soums — 40.3% more than a year earlier. The leader was Ipoteka Bank, which accounted for almost half of the entire growth of the system; Microcreditbank and TBC Bank remained loss-making.
