Pashinyan: Armenia may apply for EU membership in 2027–2028
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in an interview with Euronews at the enlargement summit, said that Armenia may officially submit an application for EU membership in 2027 or 2028. He called this part of a strategy of balancing external relations and acknowledged the incompatibility of EU and Eurasian Economic Union membership, noting that the final choice will rest with the citizens of Armenia.
