Instagram releases the Edits editor for Mac, intensifying competition with CapCut
The short-video editing app Edits is now available on desktop for macOS. The version is designed for large projects with a multi-track timeline, syncing with the mobile app, and publishing directly to Instagram. This puts Meta's product in direct competition with CapCut, which has been available on desktop since 2021.
