DreamHost confirms breach: hackers had access to customer emails and files for months
Hosting provider DreamHost has disclosed a prolonged cyberattack that began in August: attackers stole session tokens, emails, and customer credentials through a vulnerability in the file manager. The company estimates the number of affected customers as 'noticeably less than 10%' of its roughly 400,000 paying users.
