Power surge paralysed Stansted Airport systems: passengers waited for hours at passport control
A power surge at Stansted Airport temporarily knocked out a number of systems: passengers reported hours-long queues at passport control and the shutdown of the shuttle, which was replaced by buses. The airport said all systems had been restored and apologised for the disruptions.
