Cyberattack disables supermarket refrigerators in Belgium, Sweden and Luxembourg
In the night of 2 November 2026, unknown attackers remotely raised the temperature in the refrigerators of dozens of supermarkets in Belgium, Sweden, Luxembourg and Ireland. The Delhaize, Carrefour, ICA, Coop and SuperValu chains report spoiled food worth millions of euros. The incident occurred a few weeks after an attack on hundreds of French supermarkets.
