Deepgram acquires Daily — the creator of the open-source Pipecat framework
Voice AI startup Deepgram has announced the acquisition of Daily, the developer of the popular open-source infrastructure Pipecat. The deal amount was not disclosed; the parties promised to keep the framework open and vendor-neutral. At the same time, Deepgram is launching the open RCS protocol for voice agents.
