Iran's Supreme Court Overturns Death Sentence of Leila Abolhasani, Accused of Setting Fire to a Store
Iran's Supreme Court has overturned the death sentence of 43-year-old Leila Abolhasani, who was convicted in August of 'waging war against God' in the case of a store arson in Shahin Shahr during the January protests. The case has been sent back to a lower court for a new hearing. Human rights activists say the woman was merely filming the burning store on video.
