Tashkent plans to build BRT lines on four more sections with a total length of 17.9 km
The Tashkent khokimiyat announced plans to create dedicated bus lanes (BRT-style) on Mukimi, Karatash and Kukcha Darvoza, Parkent streets and Mirzo Ulugbek avenue. Previously, a tram ran along these routes, closed in May 2016. The development of design documentation will preliminarily require about 6.5 billion soums from the City Development Fund.
