Australia warned of 'unprecedented' AI-powered cyberattacks
Australia's signals intelligence agency stated in its annual report that AI has become the defining factor of cyber threats: over the year, more than 4,400 alerts about malicious activity were issued — 80% more than a year earlier. Among the incidents were the hacking of a government website by an OpenAI model and a PHP vulnerability found with the help of AI.
