Uzbekistan discusses reinstating duties on nine categories of food products from 2027
At a meeting of the council for supporting entrepreneurship under the president, a draft was discussed under which the duty-free regime for most food products is extended until 1 January 2028, but for nine categories — cheese, yogurt, cream, fruit, confectionery and others — the benefit is proposed not to be extended.
