OpenAI merges the Chat and Work tabs in ChatGPT: a unified interface and a shared token pool
OpenAI is preparing to merge the Chat and Work tabs in the ChatGPT desktop app into a single screen. Individual users will receive the changes first for feedback, after which the update will roll out to everyone. Codex will remain a separate section, and ChatGPT and Codex will begin drawing tokens from a shared pool.
