Italy prepares for nationwide strike against rising prices and military spending
On Friday, strikes and demonstrations against the cost of living and military spending will take place across Italy. The USB and Cobas unions have called on public and private sector workers, with student protests and an international dockworkers' action expected. The strikes will affect railways, air transport, taxis and motorways.
