ICAO withdraws the safety warning for Syrian airspace that had been in effect for 13 years
The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has withdrawn the safety warning for Syrian airspace that had been in effect since 2013. Syrian authorities called this a step toward reintegrating the country into the global aviation network, although restrictions imposed by individual states and EASA remain in place.
