Apple boosted memory inventories by 154% amid rising chip prices
In the fiscal fourth quarter, Apple's inventories rose to $14.54 billion — up 31.1% quarter over quarter and 154.3% year over year. The company attributes this to an unprecedented rise in memory prices, forecasts a lower gross margin, and does not rule out further price increases for its devices.
