Water to be temporarily shut off in Tashkent's Chilanzar district on October 21–22

Toshkent shahar suv ta'minoti JSC announced scheduled preventive and repair works on water supply networks as part of preparations for the 2026 autumn-winter season. From 09:00 on October 21 to 14:00 on October 22, water supply will be suspended in 19 mahallas of the Chilanzar district, as well as in a number of schools, kindergartens and medical institutions. Drinking water will be delivered by special vehicles.

Saidqahxor Xolxujayev appointed First Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade

By a presidential decree, Saidqahxor Xolxujayev, who had headed Tashkent's Chilanzar district since August 2022, has been appointed First Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade. The post had remained vacant for more than a year. He previously served as First Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank and head of Uzagrosugurta.

Hayot Inogamov Approved as Khokim of Chilanzar District of Tashkent

The press service of the capital's khokimiyat announced the approval of Hayot Inogamov as khokim of the Chilanzar district of Tashkent. Previously, since November 2020, he had headed the Yangihayot district. In Chilanzar he replaced Saidkakhor Kholkhujaev, who is expected to become Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade.

Three district mayors (khokims) dismissed in Tashkent; new appointments reported

The press service of the Tashkent city administration (khokimiyat) announced the dismissal of the khokims of Chilanzar, Yashnabad and Yangikhayot districts due to their transfer to other jobs. According to Gazeta, information about the new heads was not provided, however Kun.uz reported that Khayot Inogamov had taken over the Chilanzar district, and that new khokims had been approved in Yangikhayot and Yashnabad.

Tashkent replaces district heads in four districts: Yashnabad, Yangihayot, Chilanzar and Yakkasaray

The press service of the Tashkent khokimiyat reported a series of personnel reshuffles: new heads have been approved in the Yashnabad, Yangihayot, Chilanzar and Yakkasaray districts. Khayot Inogamov, who had led Yangihayot since 2020, was transferred to Chilanzar and was replaced by Lazizbek Temirov. According to Daryo.uz, Nilufar Allabergenova has been appointed deputy prosecutor of Tashkent.
