Chinese private company Galactic Energy returns the Ceres-2 rocket to successful launches and places four satellites into orbit
On November 7, 2026, the Chinese private company Galactic Energy successfully launched the Ceres-2 Y3 rocket carrying four research satellites from the Jiuquan spaceport. This is Ceres-2's first successful flight after the January accident, when the rocket failed to reach orbit. The spacecraft are intended for ocean and atmosphere sounding, mineral monitoring and space situational awareness.
