First direct flights launched between Tashkent and Sri Lanka
The first direct Tashkent — Mattala flight was operated on 28 October: a Centrum Air aircraft with 160 passengers landed at Mattala Rajapaksa Airport. The route was organized with the participation of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Islamabad and is scheduled until the end of March 2027.
