Developer fined in Tashkent for damaging graves near a construction site
The Tashkent inspection for control in construction and housing and communal services, together with partner organizations, examined a case of damage to graves at a cemetery in the Yashnabad district. Earthworks near the cemetery were carried out without permits and in violation of urban planning norms; due to the contractor's negligence, the cemetery wall and some graves were damaged. It was previously reported that a wall of the Botkin cemetery collapsed due to construction on the territory of a former champagne factory.
