Beijing demands that the US lift sanctions against Chinese companies over Cuba
The US State Department added eight companies and two citizens to its sanctions lists, including the Chinese CEIEC and Beijing H&C Technologies, accusing them of supplying components to the Cuban armed forces. China's Ministry of Commerce stated that the sanctions violate international law and reserved the right to take retaliatory measures.
