EU Court: CBD products cannot be certified as “organic” without sales authorization
The Court of Justice of the European Union ruled that food products containing cannabidiol (CBD) cannot obtain organic certification until they themselves are authorized for sale in the EU. The ruling was issued in a case initiated by the French regulator INAO and a hemp growers' association.
