Spain's Supreme Court allows Puigdemont to return to the country without arrest
Spain's Supreme Court upheld the lifting of arrest warrants for former Catalan president Carles Puigdemont and his former ministers Toni Comín and Lluís Puig, rejecting an appeal by the Vox party. Judge Pablo Llarena cited a Constitutional Court ruling on the applicability of the amnesty law, but noted that the final dismissal of the case still has to be decided by the Supreme Court's criminal chamber.
