SpaceX wants to buy Boost Mobile to enter the US cellular market
According to The Washington Post, SpaceX held talks with EchoStar about buying the carrier Boost Mobile. The deal would give the company access to terrestrial cellular networks in addition to the Starlink satellite service, although AT&T and T-Mobile, from whom Boost leases capacity, could block the transfer of the contracts.
