Cyberattack on the operator of the Brenner Base Tunnel between Austria and Italy
The Brenner Base Tunnel operator BBT SE confirmed a cyberattack. According to Tiroler Tageszeitung, the Russian-speaking group Everest, linked to an international cyber-extortion network, is suspected. The company isolated the affected data source and stated that operational processes were not affected.
