Surkhandarya entrepreneurs discussed expanding cooperation with Afghanistan's Balkh province
A delegation of entrepreneurs from the Surkhandarya region held direct talks with business circles in Afghanistan's Balkh province. The parties named promising areas — poultry farming, textiles, construction materials, food industry, and mining; the head of Balkh's industry and commerce department estimated the potential trade turnover between the two countries at $5 billion. It was also agreed that Afghan doctors would visit the AKFA Medline medical center in Termez.
