The Azerbaijani company AzerGold has officially registered a subsidiary, AzerGold Uzbekistan, in Uzbekistan. At the first stage, the Akba gold deposit in the Kashkadarya region will be assessed, and prospecting work lasting 18 months will begin after the license is obtained.

The company will carry out geological exploration of the Akba gold deposit in the Kashkadarya region: after the license is issued, the work is planned for 18 months. A joint venture with Uzbekgeologorazvedka is also planned to explore areas between Navoi and Nurata.
