Helsinki opens “Arcana Borealis” — the first major exhibition on Nordic women artists and esotericism
The Finnish National Gallery presents more than 200 works by 50 women artists from the Nordic countries and Sápmi, exploring esotericism and spirituality from the 19th century to the present day. The curators emphasise a shift in focus from male artists to women and collective creativity. The exhibition is open until 28 February 2027.
