Syria appoints Druze activist and TV presenter Mozna Alatrash as adviser on peace affairs
Syria's Foreign Minister Asad al-Shaibani has appointed Druze activist and journalist Mozna Alatrash as adviser on peace affairs. The appointment coincided with tensions between the Druze community and the central authorities: Alatrash's home province of As-Suwayda remains one of the last zones outside the control of President Ahmad al-Sharaa.
