Google brings personalized Gemini to cars via Android Auto and Google Built-in
Google announced the launch of the 'Personal Intelligence with Gemini' feature for cars: the assistant will be able to use data from Gmail, Calendar, YouTube, Maps, and search history. The feature launches in Android Auto on October 20, 2026, and will arrive in cars with Google Built-in in the coming months. Connection is only with the user's consent.
