17-year-old schoolgirl missing in the US found via an in-game chat in Among Us after 521 days
Kylie Arellano disappeared in Utah in May 2025 at age 15. According to investigators, 39-year-old Adam Hunter Harmel took her to Oregon, confiscated her phone, and kept her at home. Contact with the outside world was preserved through Wi-Fi: the girl told a teenager she had met in the game about her situation, and his mother passed the information to the FBI. On November 1, 2026, she was freed and the suspect was detained.
