Wang Yi calls for political settlement of the Middle East conflict at meeting with Ali Bagheri
At a meeting in Beijing with Ali Bagheri, Deputy Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi said that dialogue and negotiations are the only path to ending the escalating Middle East conflict. Bagheri, for his part, said Tehran would not compromise on issues of sovereignty and security.
