Dubai allows eight-storey residential development in the Al Satwa district
Dubai Municipality has updated the planning rules for the old low-rise district of Al Satwa: plots along internal roads now permit a ground floor plus two residential floors instead of townhouses, while consolidated plots of 1,000 square metres or more may rise up to eight floors. The aim is to encourage investment and redevelopment while preserving the district's character.
