Jordanian aviation strikes terrorist positions in southern Syria in response to attack on church
The Royal Jordanian Air Force carried out Operation 'Jordanian Vengeance — Hammoud' against positions of terrorist groups in southern Syria. The trigger was the attack on the Orthodox Church of Saint George in the village of Hammoud on October 23, in which nine people were killed; responsibility was claimed by the 'Islamic State'.
