China Rejects Reports of Spy Operation Involving Nvidia CEO
China's Foreign Ministry dismissed a New York Times report as 'baseless speculation,' which alleged that a senior employee of a Singaporean data center was spying for Beijing and had ties to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. Nvidia clarified that interactions with the employee were normal business dealings and that previous smuggling allegations were refuted. The report noted that US intelligence had informed President Trump of these findings a year ago, but he took no action. This comes amidst ongoing US-China tensions over AI chip exports and security.
