Libyan leaders discussed political settlement and election preparations
Head of Libya's Presidential Council Mohamed al-Menfi and head of the High Council of State Mohamed Takala discussed ways to achieve a national political settlement that should open the way to elections. The parties emphasized the independence of the judiciary and the unity of sovereign institutions amid the work of the '4+4' committee to overcome the political deadlock.
