European Commission creates permanent sanctions office targeting Russia and prepares 22nd package
In Brussels, the first permanent EC unit has appeared that will oversee the entire sanctions policy toward Russia — from developing measures to combating their circumvention. At the same time, work continues on the 22nd package of restrictions, the timing of which has not been announced.
