Stylist's tips on winter knitwear

Stylist Vlad Lisovets explained how to wear knitwear correctly in winter, as he wrote in his blog. According to him, the most relevant yet most challenging option is the total look — an outfit built entirely from knitwear. In such a look, the stylist emphasized, wide shoulders and an emphasis on the waist are essential, as well as neatness of the garments: sloppy and overly worn items will not give the proper polish. Additionally, he advised not to forget about accessories, eyewear and a haircut, which should 'bring the look to perfection.'

Footwear recommendations and earlier statements

For footwear, Lisovets recommended adding a high heel to visually elongate the silhouette and make it look lighter, while patent leather, in his words, 'is also welcome.' This is not the stylist's first recent statement about fashion: a month earlier he claimed that false and eyelash extensions turn a girl into a 'provincial', advised against wearing glasses on the tip of the nose, and urged giving up drawn-on eyebrows, 'duck lips,' watches with rhinestones, tall baseball caps and fitted denim jackets. Earlier he also named the trendiest accessory.
