Gold in the team event

The Russian team won gold at the trampoline gymnastics world championship in the team power tumbling event. The tournament is taking place in Nanjing, China. As reported by Life.ru, the winning team included Alexandra Lyamina, Elena Neiman, Arina Kalyandra and Polina Novolokina, who scored 28 points. Silver went to the Belgian team with 22 points, while the French women took bronze with 21 points.

First performance under the flag since 2019

This performance marked the first time since 2019 that Russian athletes competed at a world championship under the national flag. In 2021, they represented the country under the federation flag, skipped the 2022 and 2023 championships, and competed in a neutral status in 2025. Thus, the gold in Nanjing coincided with the team's return to competing under the Russian flag at world championships. The world championship will conclude on November 8.

Success in the World Cup

The successes of Russian gymnasts this season were not limited to the world championship: in October Anzhela Bladtseva and Sofia Alyaeva became winners of the overall World Cup standings in trampoline gymnastics in synchronized performances. The duo posted the best result across the series of six stages of international competitions.
