Cladding falls in a parking lot

In Ufa's Zelenaya Roshcha microdistrict, facade elements of a multi-story residential building broke loose from a height and fell onto a parked car. The incident was reported by the Telegram channel Mash Batash, whose data is cited by Gazeta.Ru. According to the source, the incident occurred near building No. 16 on Sagit Agish Street: a man parked his Hyundai Solaris by the building in the evening, and at night the car's alarm went off — when he came out, the owner found that the cladding had collapsed onto the vehicle.

Damage and camera footage

As a result of the concrete panels falling, the car sustained mechanical damage: the published footage shows a shattered rear window and a dented roof. Later, Mash Batash published a recording from a street camera capturing the moment of the fall itself: chunks of cladding crash onto the white car, which jolts from the impact, and car alarms go off. The channel's post specifies that a neighboring car was also hit. The cause of the incident remains unknown at this time.

Who will be liable for the damage

It is reported that the affected owner intends to demand compensation for the damage from the management company that maintains the building. The amount of the damage has not been disclosed. In practical terms, this means that, judging by the owner's plans, the dispute over compensation will be pursued specifically with the management company responsible for the condition of the facade — however, neither the cause of the collapse nor the management company's response is yet known.
