Verdict in Tashtagol

In Tashtagol, Kemerovo Region, a verdict has been handed down to a local resident accused of raping a minor. As reported by the Joint Press Center of the Courts of the Kemerovo Region, as cited by Gazeta.Ru, from June to September 2025 a drunken man raped the child in the house where the victim lived. At the time of the first crime, the girl was under 14 years old.

Grave consequences and punishment

The minor became pregnant and gave birth to a child — the court recognized this as grave consequences of the crime. The accused was sentenced to 18 years of imprisonment to be served in a maximum-security penal colony.

Other similar verdicts

In Khabarovsk Krai, a teacher who had previously been convicted of a similar crime, committed sexual violence against two 15-year-old schoolgirls while visiting them, and raped one of them — he was sentenced to 17 years of imprisonment.
